Changing from dynamic blogger template

new-begining

After several weeks of working on our new look, the site is now ready for public scrutiny. We deeply regret that we have been unable to update new articles recently. This is because we have been tied down to debugging the new template to ensure that all feature are working well.

But be assured that we are now back to our main business of updating new articles. We have official made the change from dynamic blogger template to a more custom blogger template. However you may wonder why we made the change? Here are the three major reasons:

1. Ease to customize

First and foremost the new template is more customizable, thus will make us more adaptive to making more changes to improve the site. Although our experience with the dynamic blogger template has been relatively good, the limitation of not being able to edit certain features of HTML has greatly limited our ability to add more widgets. Since our goal is to make the site as interactive as possible then we had to opt for a more customizable template.

2. Compatibility with browsers

The new template is more compatible with the majority of the browsers. Indeed the dynamic blogger template has some advance feature which work well with advance browsers like chrome, Firefox and safari. However for the majority of the other browsers including Bing and Opera, it loads in cache form and the menu bar is not accessible. Since we did not want to alienate any of our readers we had to move to a more compatible template

3. Modern and predictable look

The new template has a more appealing and predictable modern look i.e drop down menus. The dynamic blogger template has several views which readers can choose from. If you want to choose how site will be viewed by the public, then you will have to add several CSS codes. However you cannot predict how the your site will load, either is in cache form in which the CSS codes is disregarded or in right form in which the codes are applied. Furthermore, for the any changes you make in one view it may affect other views negatively. This can be quite a challenge to a webmaster to plan how his material should displayed. It requires much time and energy. We felt that this time would better utilized posting new articles.

It is our hope to the you will be enthusiastic as we are about the new look.
